Yesterday, we were told by daycare that Sully had been pulling himself to a standing position all day-we were very excited!
Then, today, as I was dusting, I noticed that Sully had made it to the first landing of our stairs. I was less excited.
I began this voyage on November 14, 2009, at four o'clock in the morning. The wind was very favourable; however, I made use at first only of my paddles; but considering I should soon be weary, and that the wind might chop about, I set up my little sail; and thus, with the help of the tide, I went at the rate of a league an hour. My friends continued on the shore till I was almost out of sight; and I often heard them crying out, “HNUY ILLA NYHA, MAJAH YAHOO;” “Take care of thyself, gentle YAHOO.”
Horrah for Sully! I should bring the boys to play!
ReplyDeleteJust sit him down and explain patiently to him that he's just a baby and shouldn't be climbing stairs. That's what worked for us.
ReplyDeleteBabies are just so reasonable and understanding. Not like toddlers.
