Talking, and playing with cousins

Sully had his two month check up last week!
It was very exciting for us to see how much he had grown, and he did so well with his shots. He got very very mad for about five minutes, and then he forgot all about it.

Sully is a whole 12 lbs, 3 oz-which puts him at the 50% for his weight.
He is 22 3/4 inches long, which puts him in the 48% for his height. The doctor also said that it looks like he will have brown eyes. We are just so glad that everything is great and he is healthy! He is growing very strong-and has started babbling to us, (which is just the coolest thing).
We also got to have a ton of fun with our Iowan cousins this week! They all came over for pizza!
I got to hold both of the November babies-take a look at Riley "Future NFL Linebacker" Dieter.
Max and Maya also had fun playing together, (but I am sure they missed Maisie!)
Max took this picture of Maya...
But he kept telling me, "Take another picture of ME!"
Last cute picture...

Kitty Love

Before we had Sully, we had Kitty. Kitty was our practice baby, so we were concerned for his emotional well being when we brought the baby home. We had heard stories of kitties not transitioning well to new babies. Thus our exciting journey of watching the Kitty fall in love (?) with Sully.
The first inkling we had that the Kitty may not be as apathetic to Sully as he appeared, was the gift of toys he began leaving for Sully, (there is a mouse tied to a string in Sully's car seat).

In our celebration of Sully's two month birthday, we decided to take photos...

Baby Faces

Sully is getting so big! We went a little picture crazy this past week-he is just so adorable we couldn't help ourselves.

This was Sully's first full week at daycare, and everyday when I pick him up, he smells like perfume. I take this to mean that he is well loved and making friends with the ladies of the daycare.
We have also made it a mission to capture on film one of Sully's more adorable faces-the sad face.
Look at that lip!!!
Maya must have taught him that pouting lip when we weren't looking.

Here is one more photo-if you look carefully, you will see that Sully is wearing a Thanksgiving outfit for a 3 month old. He just keeps growing and growing!

Smiles and Daycare

This has been a big week for Sully!
He has started giving us intentional smiles-though he will stop if we laugh. He smiles if I blow raspberries on his tummy, if I tickle his toes, and if he just feels like it. It has been so much fun to see!
Sully has also started daycare half days this week-it seems like he enjoys himself. I am pretty sure I miss him more than he misses me.

And now, more pictures!

X-Mas, Fashion Faux Pas, and Hulking out

Christmas was so fun!!! It seems like a very long time ago-especially considering the growing that Sully has done since then!

In an effort to make Sully wicked adorable for Christmas, I bought a special outfit for him-imagine my surprise when I discovered Riley wearing the same outfit!

Sully is the one on the left. Don't you just hate it when you go to a party and someone else is wearing your ensemble? In this case, the result was pretty cute.

Sully has also been growing like crazy! He is now wearing three month clothes and is getting pretty strong.

We are just enjoying this so much-it is so fun to watch Sully grow!
